Castile soap is a name used in English-speaking countries for soap made exclusively from vegetable oil, as opposed to animal fat.
Examples of oils used in castile soaps include olive, coconut, almond, hemp, and jojoba.
Castile soap is also sometimes called Seafarer's soap because of its broad range of uses.
I, personally love soaps made exclusivaly from olive oil. The purest of the oil used alone gives a creamy finish to the look and the touch of the handmade soap.
